Info on Bacstual as asked by

Bacstual is one of the many creations by Dr Chrome Ballanche (basically he's the guy who created fatimas for the AKD in the FSS world XD) Most fatimas are paired up with a headliner as a copilot to pilot the Mortar Headds (all the awesome mechas you'll see in the FSS world). However, she is never assigned to the battlefield and is commonly seen working as a 'test pilot' for all of Chrome Ballanche's mortar headds before they go out for battle.
Her appearance in the book is very brief (3 small panels to be exact) - and she is seen wearing her casual outfit. I only remember her crucial role in consoling Lachesis (I don't remember which chapter oTL).
As to why she is called "The Bride" - if I'm not mistaken, it is actually a collection of wedding gowns collection designed by Mamoru Nagano, and that version of Bacstual is called "The Bride"

When I look at this photo,I see an expression full of hope,and a pose that may appear static,but it's the icon of a great inner movement.
It reminds me of the great roman emperors who were about to be acclaimed by their soldiers after an intense fight.
Apart from interpretation,the quality of the costume is really nice,and same goes for the photo: beautiful angle,charming colors.
I'm not surprised that it was featured as one of the best 2010 costumes.
